VA Wine Diva just called to tell me that a panel of judges selected us – little ol’ Swirl, Sip, Snark – as one of FIVE finalists for the 2011 Wine Blog Awards category of Best Single Subject Blog! I’m speechless. Flabbergasted. Gobsmacked. The other nominees are Cheap Wine Ratings, Elloinos, New York Cork Report, and Reverse Wine Snob, all excellent blogs. Definitely check them out – man, it’s amazing to be considered a peer to some of these bloggers.
Anyhow, trolling for votes would be considered declassé by many. That said, here’s the link to the voting page. Voting is open to the public from June 21-June 27, so please check out the other nominees and vote for your favorite blog(s). If that just so happens to be us, awesome. If not – those are some great blogs up for the award and just having been nominated will have me on cloud 9 for days!
